As I will have National Guard Drill on 2-3 June :smt011, I am taking Friday 1 June off for the opener.  Don't know jack about rockfish or Ling and am looking for someone to go out with who can show a newbe the way(hey at least I am not Bsing you into thinking I am some sort of expert) :smt044.  I am hoping to have a FF installed by then, then again maybe not.  :smt010

Squidder I'm down bro!

   I'll be there launching next to HAlf moon bay kayak co. Although I've launched out of HMB a bunch of times i have never fished for Rockies out there. I have tagged a bunch of reef locations out there so maybe we can give it a shot if you don't have your FF by then.

 Hopefully we can tag up with one of the regulars who fish Rockies out there.

Friday: W wind 9 to 13 kt. Patchy fog before 11am. Mixed swell...WNW 6 to 7 ft at 9 seconds and SW 1 ft at 14 seconds. Wind waves around 1 ft.

Doable but maybe not great fishing.

Great fishing with you guys yesterday! Winds an swells got nasty after 3PM. All in all... still a good day... 5 lings with and two were undersized. Kept a nice 26".
