1 June HMB Rockfish opener any takers

As I will have National Guard Drill on 2-3 June , I am taking Friday 1 June off for the opener.  Don't know jack about rockfish or Ling and am looking for someone to go out with who can show a newbe the way(hey at least I am not Bsing you into thinking I am some sort of expert) .  I am hoping to have a FF installed by then, then again maybe not.

   I'll be there launching next to HAlf moon bay kayak co. Although I've launched out of HMB a bunch of times i have never fished for Rockies out there. I have tagged a bunch of reef locations out there so maybe we can give it a shot if you don't have your FF by then.

 Hopefully we can tag up with one of the regulars who fish Rockies out there.

I will probally drop a couple of hoop nets and try to pick a crab or two as well.

I'm down for that. At least I know well be going home with something lol.

I think I might be able to join you guys as well.

I'm in, fished and crab'd alot there prolly launch at the old pier at first safe light. Weather permitting of course.

Friday: W wind 9 to 13 kt. Patchy fog before 11am. Mixed swell...WNW 6 to 7 ft at 9 seconds and SW 1 ft at 14 seconds. Wind waves around 1 ft.

Doable but maybe not great fishing.

I don't plan on staying out there that long. haha

NOAA report for today is small craft advisory 15-20 knot winds gusting to 40. 

Great fishing with you guys yesterday! Winds an swells got nasty after 3PM. All in all... still a good day... 5 lings with and two were undersized. Kept a nice 26".
