Don't put off playing till retirement :smt004 Health and wealth are not synonymous :smt002 Play until you retire to play more :smt007 Many of us will never get to retire... Sad to look back and NOT have memories to fall back on if Health takes you out of the game early (my Dad :smt009 ) See you all OTW as much as I can... I hope to fall over dead playing hard and loving life RIGHT NOW! (eventually on the dead part) Then, if I can, retire to play more...  :smt007 (most of us already do this)

This last school year was a reminder of these concepts for us in Redding... as a teacher at our school died with his boots on hang gliding... health got him on the landing. He was shy of retirement, but lived his life. Work to live or live to work....I guess it is our choice. I know I find fulfillment at the end of the day helping our students be all they can be...but no one probably cares about the 12 to 14 hours days. Two days left with students...time to relax after a great school year!  :smt003

My sister is a teacher back east, and every spring she gets laid off, every fall she gets hired somewhere else.  She loves teaching, but I would of flipped the school board the bird a long time ago, she just has to figure where she will be the next school year.
