SurfingDude joins the "BUTTHEAD" club

Got my first BUTT today about halfway to the mile marker from SC harbor ......Rod bent about 11 AM just after all the kayaks and fishing boats left and the sailboats moved in...I poured 1 last cup of coffee before heading in ...spilled it all over myself when rod bent.

And..............it's pretty picture especially for those of us at work today,  Congrats on the ocean caught Butt.

I need lots and lots of practice catching and landing Halibuts..
.I spilled my coffee , I didn't get the Go-Pro on, everything in the boat moved around on its own.. I got the fish in the boat..but get NO style points for that fish.. .....Crazy how all the "When I hook up " plans I made in my garaged just went south as the rod bent..
I am loving this kayak thing BUT ... I am needing tons of practice at this so post a hookup and LETs GO FISHING !!!!
