Clearlake 5/28

Lived around this lake for most of my life and have never targeted Bass/crappie come mon game on...

going to launch either Rodmans slough or down town lakeport for bass/crappie

Goal is to be OTW before most...going to get up around 5am and get some ASAP!!! I'm less than 20 minutes from RS...........

Word is Slabs under docks someone took a camera and dove it and filmed it...3lb crappie in Bunchs...my dad wants me to hook him up some fresh fillets...

Hope some of those big black crappies end up in your yak.

I've only fished Clear a few times but the crappies seem to like red/white tube jigs tipped with a wax worm. Bigger, fresh/frisky minnows on a slip bobber rig would be good under the docks as well. Might get an all day bite if the water is a little choppy.
