Rodmans Slough CL 5/29

Going to hit up Rodmans tomorrow in the am 7:30ish got the itch for baSS NOW...

Going to pound the lillys with some frogs and picked up some sinkos maybe I can fig it out...freaking lost a nice Bass today due to using the wrong gear (ultra)

It's a new game to me...what's a brush hog...???  frog???  I was planning on tossing frogs in the reeds got 2 dif kinds and a killer spook along the edges... than do some sinkos and drop shotting... bought some meal worms for some gills...love a grip of bluegill fillets fryed in butter and flour little salt/pepper golden brown...damn now I'm hungry

A brush hog is a Zoom brand plastic creature bait. They are about 5 inch long my favorite color is mossgreen with red flakes. Texas rig with a 3/16 oz black color brass bullet and a use a 4/0 90 deg bent hook. If you go to the pro shops they will show you what I mean or goggle Texas rig.

If you have not been to Rodmans, You can launch at the bridge make sure to go in to the slough all the way to the 90 deg bend and fish that area stay on the right side I find thats has been the best area I have fished.

Thanks for the intell Brother...I've seen pram boats all the way to Hwy 29 have you gone all the way??? I just like the fact that on a yak we can get way into the weeds   Ted at Tackle It now E Tackle was saying from all the bass tournys the bass have been pushed way up into the tulies.......guy gave me the intell for my crappie today cool guy...I pumped up NCKA there and even with a discount he always throws something in for free...   Next time your dong CL let me know cuz I'm like 3-4 miles from Rodmans slough...Its a very big lake with lots of options........heard there was a kitty bite going on in rodmans also....and I'm headed back to E tackle for a BRUSH HOG Thanks
