Went out to SCR again for a few hours. The fishing was way slow today. Hit the normal spots for a couple of fish. A pack of bluegill started to attack my crawler... that was probably the most fun today. Catching a bunch of bluegill. I did manage to pull in 3 bass. One smallish one around 10" and the biggest one at 16". For those of you who own a Pentax Optio WP camera... here's some shots for you. I wanted to test out the underwater mode on the camera. This goes against everything in my mind of what you shouldn't do with a handheld but, I went for it anyways. These cameras are awesome!!!

The only hard part is trying to focus on the fish while your holding the pole in one hand and the camera underwater in the other hand.

While I was trying to take the picture of the greenhead... the only thing going through my mind was... I can't wait until October.  :smt067

Tight lines,

Freddie

Nice shot savage! I was in Stevens Creek yesterday at around 4PM. I went by Fisherman's warehouse to re-spool all my fishing lines - to get ready for the RF opener. Anyway, I fished from shore for about an hour - casting a castmaster. I landed one trout (later released) and that was it.

On another note, I believe it was Out back Adventures that was out there by the ramp renting out kayaks. Saw a few Prowlers but most were sit-inside-yaks.

Thanks guys... I lucked out with that picture. The others didn't come in too good.

Mooch-

That was Outback Adventures out there. They were all over the place. Anyways, it was a fun day...
