Hey guys.

I'm going up to Redding this Sunday to help my Mom and Dad out with a Demo Day at Whiskeytown Lake. The demo starts at 11:00AM and there will be a BBQ sometime around 12:30-1:00PM. We will be at the Brandy Creek Beach. Come on out and try all the new 2012 Hobie's and meet the folks from Headwaters Kayak shop.

There is No charge to demo the kayaks.

See you there!  :smt006a

Hang out afterward, annular solar eclipse will be visible with peak around 6:30 and whiskeytown is right in the path.

Depending upon the weather forecast - like if it is cloudy on the coast and nice inland - I might bring the family for the day.

Damn, I have search/rescue training all weekend but will only be about 10 minutes from you guys.  I'll see if I can sneak out for a quick paddle and brew.

I'll definitely be there. Its going to be a popular spot for eclipse viewing later in the evening.

Looks like it will be cloudy on the coast.

I'm bringing my new revo to let people try her out and some paddle boards. Going to be a good time.
