I managed to turn a set of bushings on the lathe last night for the rudder.  Got all that to work.  Now, the next issue is getting the foot pedals to fit.  The track holes DO NOT align to the holes in the Stealth.  They are off by exacgtly 1 hole width so now I'm having to either fabricate a custom track, an intermediate mounting plate or totaly hack the system to pieces to make it work.  What a mess this simple install has turned into.  So, lessons learned 1) the SeaLect Designs TrueCourse rudder system does not (easily) work with a Malibu Stealth, 2) have a full machine shop at your disposal if you attemt to install it 3) take the retail price and double it for the hastle it will take to properly install.  I will be sure to post some pictures of how to do it for anytone interested in making it work .... if it even will.  Joey, not sure I can make a Friday trip since I'm still dealing with the headache that has become of this ....  possibly next round.  Oh, and I work on Friday too.....  I'll drop by some evening even if it's for a "dab" trip.

I have FINALLY managed to complete the Trucourse rudder install on the Stealth 14.  Let me be open in saying that this kit is not specific for this yak so a fair amount of modification work to the rudder system is required to make it work.  I can/will post a "how to" in a different area for anyone interested in adapting a "pedal" style rudder system to the Stealth 12/14 yak.
