Last Friday i mentioned to the fishing crew, while on the water, that wouldn't it be cool if we had gators to contend with in the lakes and delta? ......they said NO!  :smt012

Just saw this article and thought some would be interested in another yakker's  peak adrenalin experience.  FisHunter it did remind me of you.  Seems like whether it's Great Whites or Gators, the reaction is univerally the same...

I went to a gator show in the back woods between Orlando and the space coast in FL years ago.  I watched a 12 footer leap a good 5 feet out of the water to grab a fish on a string.  That was a small gator and the water had to be shallow, they push with their tales off the bottom.  I used to canoe a river near me in when i lived in central FL and would see them buggers everywhere.  Generally they leave us alone.
