Missing kayak fisherman @ Camp far west reservoir

I'm just getting bits of info on this...

It appears a fellow Sacramento Firefighter has gone missing at Camp Far West Reservoir...

I know this man very well, he has several Hobies, knows how to handle yaks, in great shape and only assume he was out on his kayak...

All I know is I have a e-mail from my Chief that he did not return from a fishing trip yesterday, his "boat" was found and his truck is still at the lake, but they have not found him...

Yuba County Sheriffs and Sac Fire are searching,,,

Anyone know this lake, is it prone to weird weather, winds... WTF???!!!

Really Worried, and does not make sense....

This makes me sad.  I hope it all turns out ok Don.   My thoughts are with you and your co-workers right now.

Been there many times nothing exceptional about this lake . It's confusing what could possibly have happened.
