For those of us north coasters not going to GS6  :smt010
The wife and are are hitting Trinidad as close to first light as I can talk her into Saturday morning.  This will be a maiden ocean fishing voyage for me (Only been crabbing out on the ocean so far) and the wife will be doing her photography.  I plan on staying close in as I have no VHF yet.

Forecast for 5/12 is:  Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming NW 5 to 7 kt in the morning. Mostly sunny. Mixed swell...NW 4 to 5 ft and WSW 1 ft. Wind waves around 1 ft.

5/13 is:NNE wind 5 to 8 kt becoming NW in the morning. Patchy fog before 11am. Mixed swell...NW 3 to 4 ft and WSW 1 ft. Wind waves around 1 ft.

This will be awesome conditions.  If there's anyone left up here your most welcome to join and maybe throw me a few pointers  :smt003
I hope to post some "first blood" pics by Monday.

Good luck out there, CF.  I suggest you drop an anchovie on a barbless mooching rig if you see birds/bait just south of and a bit outside the Head.  You could easily hook a salmon right there between Prisoner and about 1/4 mile SW of the Head.  That setup will catch all other species too.  Good luck, have fun, and I'm glad the wife will be doing her photo thing so you'll have plenty of good stuff for your report.   :smt003 :smt001

Of course, you're welcome to boogie down to Shelter Cove and fish with the horde.   :smt006

Good luck! I'll be looking forward to your report and to a few Trinidad runs once I build the waf back up from this weekend!
