I've gone twice now to Peninsula Campground and the gate is a 'self-serve' for paying.  The price is listed for a boat at $8 but I wonder if anyone can tell me if a kayak also pays the $8?  With a single car day use fee of $10, that's 18 bucks for a morning or afternoon of fishing and I'm going to have to slow down the frequency of my trips if kayaks are paying the same price those PB's are paying.  Thanks for the info, everyone on here rocks and I greatly appreciate all the information I've learned on here.

Thanks guys!  I have PA on a trailer, not on a rack.  I wonder if some patrol would see the trailer and assume that it was for a boat.  I guess I'll find out!  Ha!

With a trailer... It's constitutes paying the "boat" fees as well.

O.K.  I didn't realize that.

I get charged $10 dollars at the Granite Bay pay gate (dealing w/a park attendant) and that's with my Adventure on the trailer. So far so good. I do come with enough money to cover $18 if I get some static though.

Have a response ready like; "You're gonna charge me the same as one of those 300 hp Bass Boats???"

Might save you 8 bucks.
