This is the report from Oyster point bait and tackle. Enjoy.

Bait Shop Mike at Oyster Point Marina in South San Francisco said "It was an afternoon bite" A couple of halibut trollers stuck it out today and were rewarded with two halibut of 12 and 20 pounds after 3:00 PM trolling orange hootchies. One 23" halibut was landed off the pier this week on a "popsicle" a frozen anchovy. Mike said, "The South Bay is loaded with shad, anchovies and sardines." Sounds like there is a lot of bait down there!
