I was at Sunrise Sports in Livermore yesterday and had a chance to try the Sea to Summit Sit-On-Top kayak cart.
Seen it online and really curious how it works. Tried it on a Hobie Revo.  First impression is quite a bit heavier than my beach wheelez and Hobie heavy plug in cart that I already own.  Stuck it inside the Revo scupper holes and noticed the crossbars extend about 2 inches above the top deck.  Then I tried pull it off and the rubber cones got stuck inside the scupper holes and wouldn't easily come off.  I had to pull real hard to take it off. If you have a loaded kayak this would be problematic and cause a mess.
I wasn't impressed and won't buy one.  I only tried it on a Revo.

My kart has those same wheels in the picture.  I might as well be dragging an plow behind the kayak when launching on soft sand.  Fine for the hard pack sand, dirt, pavement .... just not hauling across the beach at MBK.
