Anybody interested? I've never fished for salmon out of my kayak yet, I can't wait any longer... I have to get the kayak wet this weekend! I would also go north as well.

I was thinking the same thing. Salmon fishing from Doran beach. The swells will be coming from the west so Doran beach is the only protected launch site in town. I plan to launch around 7:30-8:00am on sunday. Will that work for you?

works for me. I was planning on trolling to cover as much ground as possible and would really like some one to buddy up with. If my plans change I'll let you know, otherwise I'll see you Sunday morning. I have a lifted f350 with a yellow 4.7

I can meet up with you guys. I will be checking and rebaiting my crab traps at Doran SAT/SUN am. I haven't fish for Salmon and just been waiting for someone to go out with at Doran.  Do you recommend bait or lure?

I usually use a rotary salmon killer with a frozen anchovy or a watermelon color apex lure.
