What size, type of SD card do I need for a gopro. I took my SD card out of my Sony cybershot and it was to big for the gopro. Any help would be great.

Pretty sure mine is an 8gb one...holds about an hour and a half of footage...got it at costco.

The 32 gb one looks sweet, but spendy!

Hope that helps!!

the gopro would take up to 32 gb standard SD card. my old cybershot used Sony's proprietary memory stick, may be that's why yours wont fit?

Jim, Fry's usually have 32gb sd for less than $30.

Thanks guys, I should have been more clear. By size I ment it was to big for the slot on the gopro. It's probably a Sony thing. Thanks again for the info

I heard the old GoPro's can only take 8gbs of SD card memory. The new GoPro 2 can take higher levels.
A standard SD memory card will work for the GoPro.

I have a 10-class, 32GB in my Hero 1. I also have the battery backpack and both batteries (internal and backpack) usually run out before I fill the card with 960p video.
