NCKA Heros on the Water needs help

Wounded warrior transition unit picked the date of May 11--same date as GS6.    Several of the regulars in NCKA HOW scheduled GS6 not knowing the conflict.

Wounded warriors are bringing 40 - 50 vets that are relying on us to show them how to kayak fish.  We can't let them down.

Frankfishing is spearheading this with Mooch, Squidder, Yester, BabyManBen, MywomanDiana and
DesertDiver volunteering.

Last year we were able to get every vet on the water that wanted to go.  If we are going to do that again, we need more NCKA members to step up. 

It's not a difficult task.  Just show up with your kayak, fishing pole, positive attitude,  and a willingness to spend time with a vet and share your knowledge about kayak fishing.  These soldiers were willing to give the ultimate sacrifice for you and our nation.  We can contribute to their health by giving them a relaxing and stressless day. Check out some posts on our recent HOW gatherings. 

I have walked away feeling much better about myself after each HOW event.  You will too.
