What kind of bird is this?

This bird has been visiting my parents backyard starting in the Spring for a couple years now. My Dad says its an Oriole, but he's not an expert. So, any of you bird experts know what this is?

Well I'll be damned.  Put another point on the board for Dad. 

They live in Fremont.  I don't ever recall seeing them growing up there.  Whats up with that?

They always go after the humming bird feeders. Great colors.
