Also, does Ocean Salmon season close on April 30th per this page http://www.dfg.ca.gov/marine/oceansalmon.asp

I think they hacen't update their website yet!

The Salmon Flyer states:  "Regulations in effect on or after May 1 will be decided by the Pacific Fishery Management Council and the California Fish and Game Commission in April 2012"
