Black Point 05/06 - late report

Still yakless , but took out the aluminum boat, launched out of black point about 10 am on saturday.  Got some fresh ghosties and made our way out. The wind was pretty mellow. Hightide was around 9 am or so . Went out between buoy 5 and 7 towards Bel Marin Keys.  Dropped in at about 12 ft or so.  Right around the channel out there. I guess there are two or so right there that converge together? .. anyways both me and a buddy got huge pumps but didnt set them. Finally buddies pole gets a good ding , and he lands a barely legal 18" stripper within 15 min of being there.  I recast , got a nice few bumps , but didnt produce.  Finally we went back out to buoy 13 , but no love.  Saw a guy in a Stripper run right into the mud , somehow he got back out of it.. lucky for him!.    It was a beautiful day , fished till 420 or so and called it.  Nothing crazy but sure beats the big 0.
