I just bought a Visipole a couple weeks ago. I'm down for night fishing! Let me know!

When night fishing, I hear that $1 baits will catch a lot of strippers in the delta.

Night fishing rocks but the lakes around where I live close at sunset.  I'm down! 

Clear Lake is open to night fishing right?  What about the night before Yakhoppers Event? 

you won't need a submersible light at clear lake if you're night fishing..those big green LED lights are more of for attracting squiddies in the ocean.

I know!  Wish you still had a kayak.  Maybe will hookup someday.

Thanks Ben!  Just gonna be a trial and error thing.  The plan is to try and bring out those lately elusive bluegill and crappie.       
   

yeah i use the LED from my boat for crappie, works pretty well for sure.  How are you planning to power it?  They draw quite a bit..

62Ah battery / 5amps = 12.4 hrs, but battery is rated for 10 hours.  Think that after 5-6 hours of sitting on the kayak should do it.
