I need a load of noodles for my new yak and haven't found much locally.  What I have found are hollow noodles for $6 each!  When it comes down to it I'd rather spend what little free time I have fishing rather than shopping for noodles so I've started to look online.  I've found nicer solid core noodles for around $4 to my door but was thinking of trying to get a quantity discount.  If anyone is interested PM me how many you might want.  Pick up would be in the santa cruz area.  If not I'll get one 20 pack for me and get on the water!

I found the large diameter, hollow ones, at Wal-Mart for $1.88 each.

yeah, no walmart near me and since time is money these days I can click a few buttons and have them here.  Thanks for the suggestion though.  Any other local options in Santa Cruz?

I bought a case of them at the dollar tree. The nice lady miss counted ( on purpose ) so I got a few for free. They were the skinny noodles.

I am new to kayak fishing...why do you need so many? Do you stuff them in the hull for added protection against sinking?

You're correct!

Hey all,
Yes, the Dollar Store, a buck a piece, the skinny ones are easier to stuff into the hull, especially a Hobie with rudder cables.
