I'd like to tag along.  I know how to Kokanee fish but never after other salmon.  My PA has a downrigger w/ 4# ball.  I can troll it for at least 5 miles without problems at 50 feet deep.  I have Mondays off and can usually take any other day off with a couple days notice.

I got one reel with 15# braid, flashers, dodgers, hoochies, apex's, and can get anything needed if those aren't what's required.  Got my VHF radio too...

Funny, was just thinking of bringing up this same topic  :smt044  However i'm the standard weekend sort of guy, who is willing to take a day off if it looks to be good enough conditions to warrent it.  I've been given the advice but need to give it all a try sometime soon  :smt003

Love to fish with you again.  I'm down for Tuesday or Wednesday.  Hopefully dpshim will make it out and teach us something.

Sorry that I haven't posted back, just got back from LA late last night and been very busy ever since with work.

I haven't been able to take my yak out for salmon yet, dunno when I'd be able to.

However, I will put a hookup post when I do plan to do some salmon fishing :) Looking forward to the hookup and some chrome for all!
