Hey everyone Im going to be hosting a 4 part kayak rigging clinic at Headwaters Adventure company in Redding. The first clinic will cover Fish Finder Installs and battery boxes. The clinic will be on march 28th at 7pm. We will be rigging a new cobra marauder kayak. The other three clinics will cover rocket launcher installs, anchor trolly and quick release anchor set ups, and live well / bait tank building and install. If you already know how to do this stuff and just want to come hang out and talk about fishing your more than welcome. I have scheduled the clinics to coincide with up coming events. The first is a few days before the fish and chill. My thought is that all of us from the area can get together and talk about the events and review travel plans.

Im new to this kayak madness and planning to build a bait tank and add a fish finder to my OK prowler. but Im about a 6 hr drive from you guys so it makes it kinda tough to make it up there for these clinics. Is there any chance someone could take lots of photos and post a review of the process for those of us that are interested but cant make it up?

Thanks
Jeff

Sounds like boys-night-out to me!  I'm thinking dinner and a few pints then cruising over.

sorry forgot to add, bring a chair. boys night out for sure ben. Liv2 huntnfish theres a lot of information out there on installs but I will be doing a step by step photo tutorial, but keep in mind theres lots of ways to do it and every kayak is different. For instance the cobras have a scupper specifically designed for a lowerance transducer mount. making it the best choice for clear imaging and accurate temp readings.

Jeff,
Welcome to the Redding Headwaters Clinic Team :smt004
Tim and I gave a Into to Kayak Fishing Clinic there this past fall.
We had fun and had a handful of peeps show up so I hope you get a better turnout than we did.
While I have the FF and rocket launcher installs dialed,
I would be interested in the anchor trolly/quick release clinic. :smt001

Hey jeff, use the search box in the upper right corner of this site to narrow down the search, and / or look at the OK site under the kayak Man. in the forum.

Can't go wrong with Los Gordos (churn creek & bonnyview), best mexican food north of Ensenada and frosty cold brews.  Meet there at 6?

just a reminder this it tomorrow night at 7pm. looks like 4 people are coming up from corning, a few from redding, in addition to my north valley slayer brothers. Should be a good time, I've got a new battery setup to show everybody too.
