An alternative to Google Maps and Map Quest

Working in Emergency Management at the VA, I come across things that have a practical application to other pursuits.  This happens to be one of them.  ArcGIS Explorer is a free download that can do a lot of different things.  I like how you can zoom in to get extremely fine detail, better than Google maps.  I would not recommend this for the be-all replacement to Maps, but it does have some usefulness that Maps doesn't have yet.  BTW ArcGIS can has a download for apple and droids. I haven't played with that yet.  There also some tutorials on ArcGis's website that helps explain the Explorer
