Just passing along.  I called and confirmed that this sale is for everybody.

One of my goals as secretary of Coastside Fishing Club is to increase our presence among fishermen in the North Bay.  To that end, Outdoor Pro Shop and Coastside Fishing Club are teaming up for a special day on Saturday, March 24th, at Outdoor Pro Shop in Cotati.

Heres whats on tap for the 24th:
There will be a Coastside BBQ at Outdoor Pro Shops Cotati location from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
NO SALES TAX
10% OFF ALL RODS
10% OFF ALL REELS
10% OFF ALL GRUNDENS GEAR
10% OFF YETI COOLERS

We will also have a couple of knowledgeable speakers on hand at the Cotati location. Coastside's own Marc Gorelnik, Paul Pierce, Taj Sharma, and Rick Ross will be on hand to update us with accurate information about PFMC issues, the HMB salmon pen project, upcoming Coastside events, and other topics important to our membership.

These Coastside specials will be offered at both their Oakland and Cotati locations. So bring your friends and tell them you are a Coastsider!

I went there today didn't see a BBQ or any Speakers more sales people than Customers. I called ahead to see if they had what I wanted but when I got there they said they were on back order :smt013 seems like that a lot. Figured I would buy a fly line but the selection is pretty poor so I left without buying anything. Stopped at Wally World to see if they had what I wanted no luck but they had Kinami Senkos on Clearance for $2 so I stocked up.

James it was good to see & talk with you today. Mike I'm sorry we missed you today. The BBQ was only from 11:30 to 1pm I think. They had a bbq in the back with dogs, burgers, & sodas. After that the Coastside brass including an adviser to PFMC spoke about the upcoming salmon season and a few new Coastside endeavors. One was about an online link-up to vhf transmissions so Coastsiders stuck at work could listen in to what's happening out OTW. The other project was some new salmon acclimation pens being installed in Pillar Point Harbor so salmon can be trucked down there, acclimated, and then released like they do in Marin. Another thing they talked about was lobbying to increase salmon limits from 2 to 3 if the salmon numbers continue to be good going forward. jim
