I've been very happy with my NRS 3mm. Whatever one you get, it's a good idea to have the full length, double zipper.

I have a bunch of neoprene but what I normally wear instead of the traditional farmer john style suit is a pair of 3mm NRS "rodeo pants", and then a choice of tops depending on the weather. I like the pants because they allow me to have a greater choice of upper body coverage. In hot sunny conditions I'll just go with something light to keep the sun off, in cooler temps (most often worn) I use a synthetic t shirt with a mysterioso top over it with a paddle jacket if its wet. If I know I'm going to be surfing or getting soaked I have either a neo vest or a neo shirt that go with the pants. I got most of this stuff from NRS.
