Hi all,

Well, my kayak won't fit in the bike storage room at my apt building...  6 inches too long to make a needed angle.  heh.

Is anyone familiar with Kayak Hotel?

http://www.eyeyak.com/kayakhotel/

$35/mo

Thanks for any help or advice!

Gracias, Mooch!  I left them a message - they posted an ad on craigslist last weekend with vacancies.   Seeing that I don't have another alternative at the moment, I will probably do it...  They seem nice - was curious as to if anyone knows them.

Put my P13 up at the hotel the day I brought it home.  The racks are built more with a touring yak in mind (NARROW AS HELL).  Only three or four of them are big enough to fit my yak, two of which hold kayaks (a blue WS and a yellow tandem) I have never seen moved.  The third (on the top row) is mine.

And I have yet to run into that young lass, let alone anyone at all there.

Be sure to bring a tape measure and make sure your yak will fit in the racks!

Yeah, for real....  She is apparently in Bay Area Sea Kayakers (bask.org) and dating some dude in Hayward....

Then the Kayak Hotel operator (he subleases the place) goes "oh, but there's a lot of single cute girls in BASK - just let me know when you want to attend an event!"

Hmmm... methinks I will store the kayak there.. but keep the yakking with NCKA..  no false advertising here!   :beer2

You all can check out the BASK lassies at the PaddleFest coming up. BASK members will be there big time. I should warn you though, BASK is full of Spearo/Fisher haters from what I can tell. Not all of them are, but its a big club and there are a lots of granola types. Just so you know.
