Hello NCKA Community!

Im brand new to the community and brand new to kayak fishing.  Ive been fishing from shore for as long as I can remember and I feel like its time to catch more, have more fun and experience more!  I Live in the east bay and fishing has been rough around here from shore.  Not to much of anything going on and Im really anticipating a great fishing season; off a kayak that is.   :smt003  But, I dont have a kayak right now.  If anyone has a extra kayak or knows someone wanting to sell, i'm wanting to purchase.  Its a pleasure to be a member here and I look forward to everything this community has to offer and hopefully give back in return.

Thanks everyone!  As far as price range.... it depends on the kayak I guess.  I wouldn't mind paying more if the kayak was worth it, but I wouldn't mind owning something cheaper to start off with either.

If you want to fish in one of the hookups, I'm sure somebody here are more than willing to bring an extra yak for you to use until you get your own. Good luck on your search for a yak and welcome aboard.

Hey man. Your welcome to come to our demo day this Saturday at Sherman Island and test paddle a bunch of yaks. Being your pole and fish while you are at it. We will be at Sherman Island county park from 10-3. Everything is free. The best thing to do is put your butt in some boats.

Im being patient and waiting for something interesting to come up (aren't we all?).  In the mean time, joining some hookups and doing some demoing sounds like a good idea.  Going out with little to no experience on someone else's kayak though makes me nervous to be honest with you. But everyone, remember that i'm looking for a kayak if you come across something that maybe worthwhile

What is the general price of a complete setup: kayak & most useful accessories?  Used and new?
