Best spot to go for a halibut first-timer ?

I love stirring it up but seriously guys, 100# tuna compared to a 100# halibut no contest. Sashimi vs worm infested heavy metal laden white meat?    Pelagics rule!!!

Tuna is not a fishery that's readily available for most of us yak anglers, and tuna makes the top 5 list for heavy metals. 

I love both, but have a better chance of catching halibut.  Picking off parasites with tweezers or freezing them for sashimi- minor inconvenience.

   The  tenderloin  meat on a  halibutt is the cheeks..       "Butt Cheeks"
