Going to visit my Eldest up north at Humbolt and have the okay to fish one day

Any feedback would be appreciated for lively areas to fish in the area. Since no Rockies until May anyone with suggestions for the area please chime in. Thanks Frankfishing

My girlfriend talked to a girl at the cafeteria at HSU that had a dad coming to give her a ride home but wanted to go fishing while up here.  Would that be you?

Maybe steelhead on the Mad or trout and bass @ Freshwater lagoon.

I just got back from the same trip......visiting son at HSU.. He caught a monster rainbow at freshwater lagoon. I limited on crab at Trinidad Harbor. I will post a report as soon as I get the pictures.

Looks like downpours throughout our visit. May just stay with the kid and cook to fill up the freezer.
