I started fishing with Kayak last year, and I really love it! I started going out and tried HMB, Monterey bay and Capitola. Living in bay area, HMB and Capitola are closest locations, yet every time I go out in hmb I get sea sick! I tried everything but it happens again and again, to  a point I just dont go there any more.

Question: I know of websites (windfinder), where I can understand and see wind and waves forecast.  But how one can predict the swell?

Cheers,
C-

Read the swell predictions and get a prescription for Scopace from your doctor.

Click on this link:

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=37.37452264407724&lon=-122.464599609375&site=mtr&unit=0&lg=en

It is currently centered on a spot just off the San Mateo coast.  You can zoom in and out and drag the map around to anywhere you want to get a forecast for.

This is the NOAA NWS point and click page, anywhere you put the cursor and click will give you a forecast for that point.

Then if you go down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Hourly Weather Graph" you will find detailed hour by hour FORECASTS of a variety of factors like swell size temperature etc.

Play with it but remember it's only a FORECAST, but this is as good as it gets,

Another option is to pay attention to the surf forecasting tools used by surfers.

One of the best is Stormsurf.  This guy specializes in big wave forecasting for Mavericks surfers.  He has a lot of great links and lessons on how to do your own swell forecasting here:

http://stormsurf.com/

He also provides his own analysis of data and provides a forecast for local waters here:

Another good one is Swellwatch.  These guys have really easy to interpret charts for both wind and waves:
