Hi guys,

I'm finally moving to the 21 century.  Gonna get my first Gopro this season.  I'm wondering:

1. There are different editions of Gopro.  Which one is suitable for diving?  Seems "surfing" is the closest one??

2. Has Gopro come out with a built in flat lens yet?

3. Are prices all the same at retail stores?  Where to buy around the SF bay area?

Thanks a lot!!

Got mine at bestbuy, paid standard retail price but I've found that their geek squad warranty is by far the most convenient and inclusive.  Bought my flat lens from  Mako spearguns.  I got the helmet hero, for diving the head strap is the best option.

I think that Dan at the Headwaters Kayak Shop in Lodi is putting together an order so if there is something you are looking for let him know. I am ordering a GoPro outdoors and also the orange float that you can attach to the back of the case so it will float if you loose it.

This is a pretty popular flat lens fix:

It also allows for standard filters to be used with the lens.
