Sac River/Merrits Landing/Courtland Sturgeon Try..Sat..CANCELLED!

Was gonna hit Cache Sl., but family will be town so I'm force to hit local waters now. Still on the Pursuit for my Diamond back, many are in the system right now, and this area is a STURGY MAGNET! Wheeleez are not needed just launch off the ramp and short paddle down river. Fill free to join. Bring a Big Inflated bouy and at least 50ft of anchor rope, current could be strong up here. Gonna need someone to snap a pic of my 66incher, help needed!  ..

Jim and jose, it will be a pleasure to fish with ya. Merrits landing is the yolo side of the sac river from between courtland and clarksburg. You could take 5 north the hoodfranklin rd. and or take the river hwy 160 all the way up from rio vista jim google it, not hard to find. Jose I will show u the ropes. Just make sure to have a quick release anchor system, real easy to make, and a weights up to 10oz! Eel, pileworms, and ghost are baits of choice up here..
