No luck pulling spinner, rapala, nor plastic grub. Shore fishermen at Brown's Ravine ramp were catching some nice ones on power bait.

Marty I get tired of this same story when I fish Del Valle, Amador, or Pardee.  The bankies seem to do better on the power bait!  I think we need to troll with power bait!!!!

Indeed, I do have motorboat friends that use powerbait for trolling. Sometimes added to lure other times just alone. Rollins was stocked a short time ago and some have been caught but mostly fishing has been poor. This is good, the fish are much better after spending time in the wild.
