I voted for one, then you added my other unit, but it won't let me vote again. Matrix 67.

This poll is set up to allow people to votes twice.  Hmmm ... I wonder if you need to do that at the same time.

I don't intend on winning any tourney's, I intend on fishing with the brother's OTW and having a good time while at it... NCKA!

So what Fish Finder would you recommend? I just jumped in this game with both feet $$$$ Kayak, paddle, vest, some other small gear, but I want to find the fish and not just float around hoping I am in the area that fish are.
PS I am not wealthy

I have 2 a humminbird 788ci complicated, expensive, beautiful color screen, and a Eagle Cuda 240, basic, grayscale screen, GPS, no map.

Even tho I don't own one I'd recommend taking a good look at the Eagle Cuda 350. (~$200).

I entered Eagle 350 and was surprised to see that it led the tally at 11% but one should not infer that that means to is a great unit..
someone searching for a first FF this may do the trick but see aka-kimo and my recent posts....they have corrosion issues in the plug..mine was on the female side.
the reason I am trolling this site is that  I am considering upgrading to a better unit..
I can't endorse the Eagle though I will admit bang for buck is not bad..glad to have GPS, especially on those foggy days in Monterey..
wish we had some more reviews on the new Garmin units coming out into the field..

The Eagle FishEasy is just that.....it's easy, does not suck up alot of power, and it does see real fish. It is also "bomb proof" and the cheapest and most water proofest.
