GoPRo Hero2 Question

I know they're awesome for the outdoors.  How is the quality for indoor activities like parties and get togthers?

I think it works pretty good for the indoor stuff!  Took video of Quinn's 6th birthday party while our friend was entertaining the kids as a Fairy and it turned out great!  The fisheye lense captures the whole room from one corner.

I have mostly used mine for outdoor activities but it is great for indoor.  Google "gopro diy egg timer mount".  Its a mount on an egg timer that will spin your gopro 360 for some sweet time lapse.  -Matt

Hope v2 has better quality for indoor shots than v1. I was not impressed with the v1 indoor shots. It needs lots of light to get decent quality. Also, if you use the sealed case, you're not gonna get decent sound. Best to stick with a normal camcorder if you want to shot indoor footage.

I agree with Ernest. The Hero 1 had pretty lousy indoor performance....but I heard the Hero 2 is supposed to perform much better in low light conditions.

and they freaky came out with the v2 one month after I paid $265 for the v1. Bastards.

I had the HD1 and have the HD2, I still wouldn't use them indoors....

Light Sensitivity for the GoPro HD2 is .84 V/lux-sec
(Moonlight is going to be down at .2 or .3 Vlux-sec)

Just tested it with regular indoor lighting around kitchen and living room. Pretty decent indoor videos. Audio is good too.

It is right on the front page of their Website.  Try logging in and see if it is visible to you. 
I called my local REI and they said you don't have to even have the coupon in hand, as they can use your card number and give you the 20% off on the one item right there no issues.
And you can combine the 20% off with your dividend.
