Hello,
I never tried sturgeon and want to have some good time ... catch and release.
I'm targeting San Francisco bay and I was wondering if your guys have any tips or suggestion as what to use/how/where.

I appreciate your tips:)
Cheers,

If you want to have a good time fishing then sturgeon is not it!  :smt005

If you do go make sure you are prepared for the Bay with the proper setup and anchoring system.

I hate sturgeon fishing the most.

Why?!

Boring for most of the time not to mention cold,,,,,,,,but when you do finally hook a nice one it all seems worth it.  They're big powerful fish so remember safety first,

Sturgeon are a great fish to catch and it takes awhile to learn to catch them with any consistancy . I think you should do your learning in a boat and once skilled try from a kayak , especially if you are a newb to kayacking as I am . All areas that you would fish sturgeon have very strong currents and you will need to be proficient at anchoring , too scary for me to do yet or maybe ever , since I have other options .
