I could be mistaken, but I believe it might be the actual BigSur trip that Brendan got mad about in that other thread.  I think Willow Creek?  Pat (What is a Sin Coast?) probably remembers.  It was the gnarly landing conditions I remember the most.

cool, I liked the way he launched, straddling his boat as he walked it out, thought his timing was off, but he nailed it.
