Attention North Valley Slayers:  The Great Outdoors shop in Redding is closing shop.  Bummer, they had some great stuff and friendly staff.  Only a handful of rods left, no reels, but they have tons of plastics and some hardware at 50% off.  I grabbed a few dodgers, some Big Hammers, and terminal gear.

I'll have to check that out. I never really liked that place Thoe, the guys at the gun counter were not that help full and the manager was talking to her girfriend instead of helping/ ringing me up. This was on more that one occasion too.

Dam, I need a reel not a rod. :smt011, I'm not surprised to hear that they are closing though.
Now we have to hope the new Sportman's Warehouse will be better.  :smt002
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.
