Hello NCKA!
I’m new to the site and just wanted to say “HI”. My first encounter with your group was at the Tiki event last year. A friend of mine (Sturgeon General) was fishing the event and it was his first, so the family went to too see how he did. I was not able to fish the event as I did not get my kayak yet. Some of the NCKA members might remember us as we had the dog the size of a miniature pony (English Mastiff). Well I got to meet Dr. Habanero and everyone was really nice and you all seemed like a fun and good group of people. Now that I have my yak I would like to fish some of your events and meet more people who kayak fish. I was just curious if you are going to have a 2012 Yakhopper Kayak Fishing Series ?

Thanks! For any and all responses and I can’t wait to meet more of you.
Take care!

Welcome aboard! Eric will have to chime in on the FW Series but I do hope it comes back! I was blessed to take home the awesome kayak and all the goodies it came with! ( but had many of the items have been stolen  :smt010 but I still have the kayak and paddle plus just finishing getting my fish finder re-installed so can't wait to get some blood on it!

See you on the water soon.

Welcome to the board HooksetR. Im not sure when and if Eric is gonna set the dates for his tourny series but im sure he will soon. But I will be hosting again The Berryessa Salmon Slam in late April, date to be officially posted soon, and you definetly dont wanna miss this one. Great place and event to bring the family and meet lots of very kool people. Looking forward to meeting and seeing you on the water sometime, Ricci.

Not to speak for the man, but Eric had talked about doing something different this year.  He'd mentioned a weekend long event instead of 4 or 5 single day events.  Not sure if he's still entertaining that idea or not so I'll shut up now.

No! I was with my wife and our 2 daughters and the big dog. We do not like fish so it would not of been us. I'm going to try and make it Sunday morning to the F&C at Berry. I see your group does a lot of ocean fishing and seeing as I have a major issue with motion sickness I will not be doing any saltwater adventures.

please post a pic of your dog.  oh, and your family too if you'd like.  Stay tuned we'll have plenty of derbies and events.  don't forget the MNK derby in august (beginning of august or MAYBE end of July, since I'll be in alaska most of August (I hope).

One good thing about this club, there's always something going on; I got another FishnChill this weekend at Oniel Forebay....
