Hello my name is Ryan and I am new to the forum. I am looking at these two inflatrables so  I have the option to hike it in somewhere if I want to. I also want to deck it out for fishing. I'm talking rod holders, electric motor, fish finder, everything. Just seeing if any one can give me any ideas on mounting these items and any other info would be great. Thanks in advance.

I have a sea Eagle se 9. The material that it's made of is pretty thick. I think someone gave me a tahiti which had holes in it. The material is a lil bit light weight compared to the sea Eagle. We tossed the tahiti

These inflatables look nice. I was just on the Sea Eagle website. One thing to remember when gettin an inflatable is the fact that they have a very high profile. So they will be more inclined to get blown around by the wind. I see that the Sea Eagle has a skeg on the rear to hel[p from windcocking. Paddle one before you buy for sure. Other than that they look pretty damn comfortable.

We had a Tahiti 2 many years ago....hated it. Played with it for one season, then sold it.
Very hard to paddle straight without a skeg. The news ones might be better quality.
As noted above, try before you buy.

Hi  Ryan,  I think most guys on this site probably don't have much experience with inflatables.......I know I don't.  The one time I paddled one out on the ocean (after a few years of paddling a "hard" boat), I didn't like it at all.   It was difficult in the wind.  However, maybe I didn't know what I was doing.

They do look really fun for running rivers, which is what most people use them for.

If you think you might take up yak-fishing as a major past time, you might consider trying a "hard" boat as well.
