A friend of mine has an older yellow Royak kayak she is interested in selling. I believe it is built of fiberglass.

This is a bit of an interesting boat, with a big bow and long narrow stern, with a large hatch in the stern for gear. You can see the boat on the Royak website, it is the "standard" model.

I'll post up some pics & a price when I get them. Kayak is in Santa Cruz.

You wont find a wetter ride in the SOT world. Fiberglass? Yes. IMO not a worthy craft anymore with all the other stuff out there. I first saw them in the early 70's. They weigh around 68 lbs I think.

I enjoyed the story about his maiden voyage, (on the Royak website).

One of the houses I looked at had an abandoned Royak in the back yard.  It was heavy.

not a great pic but it what I was sent. I'll see if I can get a test paddle in it soon.
I'm not in constant contact with the seller so it may take a few weeks. I'm also not sure how motivated she is to move it. BUT, if there is interest PM me and I'll facilitate a hook-up.
