Those Eskimos have got freakin sack! I just watched a tv show recently where they dog sled out onto an iceberg, camp out on the iceberg until they see a whale, then launch a small kayak to try and harpoon the whale from. Problem was they camped out on the iceberg too long and then it broke free from land. That was gnarly.
