She loves me!

First present opened on Christmas Day -- a Cobra HH MR325 hand held marine VHF radio with drybag.  Dave now has a radio ... and the best wife in the world.  I WIN XMAS.

I remember that over 30 years ago when I bought her a rod and reel for her birthday, and SHE LIKED IT ...we spent many hours in my johnboat fishing in in Tx.   When we moved to CA she used to go weekly with me on the party boats.  My mom said when she saw all that she knew she was the girl for me.   I'd love to get her kayak fishing but she has developed a such severe problem in sunlight that she shys away from it. -- will be trying the radio out later today.  (Should be able to hear something so close to the harbor.)   

Getting geared up for next summer, Dave!  Love it.   

@ Eric -- Count on it! -- several trips.   (Wish I could do Shelter Cove event .. but it's right during finals!) 

Glad you caught a keeper for a best friend for life Dave. I got lucky as well.
