Fished Stampede Res. near Truckee yesterday from 2-4 pm.  No strikes, no fish.  variable 80-90% overcast, 46 degrees (air), 1015 mb, wind 2-8 mph variable.  Trolled for Macs and Browns using larger Rapalas (toplining) and Rebel (down 40 feet).  Many kokanee were jumping (12").  Heard report one fish caught (small trout - kokanee?) all 10-12 other boats (including one guide) caught zip.  I was the only kayak out (up there I always seem to be the exception).  No snow on the road and the ramp is clear of snow.  Nice day to be out.  I wanted to stay longer, but I had to drive back to the Bay Area.   Another day waits for me to haul in a few of those large ones.   Tom
