Rockfish regs

I'm confused.  In the regs book, I looked it up and it said for the bodega area (forget what it's called...central north coast or whatever it is) I thought it said rockfish closed on December first.  I keep hearing props say it's December 31st !?

When does rockfish close (for bodega bay area) ?

Rockfish season closes on Dec 31 for boat based anglers in the San Francisco Management Area.
