So I bought my new Malibu Pro Explorer Fish and Dive and need some help.  I need to know what I might need accessories wise (ex.  cheats and anchors).  I mostly fish and rec in fairly still water like lakes and coves but time to time hit the delta.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

What I have so far:
Kayak (of course)
Paddle
Anchor(s)
Seat
Scupper plugs

Welcome to the board and the sport, Hugh.   :smt001

Someone will no doubt give you some links to other threads on here with the "vital safety equipment" lined out.  PFD and dressing for immersion (wetsuit) are top priorities - VHF, compass, GPS, flares, extra paddle, flotation in your boat, bilge pump, whistle, reflective material...etc. are all things to consider - especially if you're going on the ocean.

Have fun, safety first, report back here with some good stories and photos - you'll be set.

For the Ocean but still a good read.

For the Delta pfd, wetsuit and a bilge pump at minimum.  Once you get on the water a couple times and get a feel for it you can start rigging the boat out, what're you fishing for?
