Got out of court by 10:30, in the water by 11 at bullhead- dead low tide, hiked all my stuff down the rocks and soaked 'em at a few different spots- rat rock then closer to mcnears pier, then towards the H.H. Got lots of little taps and finally got one on, a perfect-sized baja style taco flounder, I think,  and ill be dammed if it didnt spit my hook a foot from my very eager hand! Good for him.
Sorry to hear about the shitty weather for 'yall last time, but it was absolute glass today.
A guy on shore said he had a keeper in his car(?!) He didnt want me to take a pic of it. I have a feeling it wasnt a "real" keeper.   A**hole.

Its a lot easier dealing with the hump in the put-in rather than the muck-fest after a day on the yak...

Its only 50 feet from the road and down 20 feet of easy rock and sure beats the mud fest from bullhead ramp.
Low tide is the killer on the ramp.
