I have a few still alive and crawling in the PB.  I'll try some of those suckers tonight. 

You could take them by hand..off the side of your trap!

HA! Nice loophole! 

Legally taking them isn't totally out of the question, as I've caught them on hook and line fishing off the Capitola Wharf before. They seem to go after anything dead in sandy/muddy areas. Might take a while to get a limit of them with h&l, and even then, that's a lot of time/work for just a handful of them.
